Fanduel Optimal Lineup: Week 12 Featured

Last week was a rough one for me with Orange Julius sidelined after an early ankle injury and Patriots giving all the love to Jonas Gray and not so much to Shane Vereen. Time to rebound this week and win all the $$$!

QB – Josh McCown, TB ($7,500): Taking a bargain pick with high upside potential for QB this week. We have two of the worst secondaries in football going against each other which could make for a lot of fantasy points coming from QB/WR in this game. Throwing in the rivalry aspect of McCown and Lovie Smith returning to Chicago just adds fuel to the fantasy point fire.

RB – DeMarco Murray, DAL ($9,000): The best running back in the league going up against the worst rushing defense in the league; not much else to explain here.

RB – Trent Richardson, IND ($5,700): With Ahmad Bradshaw being lost for the season Richardson should see a spike in his volume of touches. That expected volume increase will be exasperated in this matchup that has blowout potential written all over it.

WR – Mike Evans, TB ($8,400): This is primarily a point variance increasing companion pick to my QB selection. Besides that, Evans has become a premier receiver lately as he has placed in the top 4 for WR’s in PPR formats over the past 3 weeks. Expecting his success to continue against the vulnerable Bears secondary.

WR – Brandon Marshall, CHI ($8,300): Sticking with the Bears/Bucs game here to further increase point variance. If this game does turn into a high scoring affair expect Marshall to walk away with a couple touchdowns.

WR – Marques Colston, NO ($6,000): Colston should be the biggest beneficiary to Brandin Cooks being lost for the season. I expect him to cash in right away in a Saints home game against a Baltimore team giving up the 4thmost fantasy points to opposing WR’s in PPR. Baltimore also gives up the 4thfewest fantasy points to opposing TE’s in PPR which could mean less leaning on a banged up Jimmy Graham.

TE – Coby Fleener, IND ($5,400): This is the first time all season I’ve gone bargain on the TE position but I’m not sold on the top TE’s due to matchups/injuries. Fleener is a cheap option with potential to rack up more targets the usual with Dwayne Allen and Ahmad Bradshaw not in the lineup.

K – Billy Cundiff, CLE ($4,500): The best min-priced kicker available this week in my opinion; that’s what I generally target.

DEF – Buffalo Bills ($5,200): Great defense vs. a turnover machine in the New York Jets. Last time these teams met the Bills had 4 sacks and 6 turnovers, expect more of the same this week.
