I’ve been following sports and wrestling since I can remember. Not too much, aside from my family, gives me as much joy as watching my Raiders, Blackhawks, Bulls, White Sox or WWE. Add in some honey Jack to sip on and that’s the equation for a perfect evening!
The number 13 has an odd aura around it.
The NFL seems to be doing its part to add to that way of thinking with some of the matchups in Week 13.
This season, Week 13 gives us plenty of matchups that are simply toss-ups. Sure, we still have a couple that are sure things and a couple that deserve to be at the bottom of the list, but there are a LOT in the middle that can go either way!
So, in times like this, we know that this is where we are going to further the gap between us and second place!
Week 13 – HERE WE GO!!!!
(HOME TEAM IN CAPS)
13 – PITTSBURGH over Arizona – I think its an obligation to have the Steelers at the top of the list at least once a season … apparently.
12 – TAMPA BAY over Carolina – Not even the morale boost of a new coach will help the Panthers.
11 – JACKSONVILLE over Cincinnati – I’ve been down on the Jags this year, yeah I need to stop that.
10 – HOUSTON over Denver – Nope, still not buying into Denver
9 – Kansas City over GREEN BAY – Whatever, obviously we just want to know what Taylor Swift is up to.
8 – DALLAS over Seattle – Not a good time for the Seahawks to be dealing with injury issues.
7 – TENNESSEE over Indianapolis – These Titans are definitely different than the ones that started the season
6 – PHILADELPHIA over San Francisco – I have a feeling this won’t be close. My BOLD PREDICTION for this week is that JALEN HURTS WILL HAVE TWO PASSING TOUCHDOWNS AND TWO RUSHING TOUCHDOWNS
5 – Miami over WASHINGTON – The Commanders have a tendency to win games they shouldn’t, that’s the only reason they are so low.
4 – Los Angeles Chargers over NEW ENGLAND – If not for the fun of seeing the Patriots just crumble as a franchise this would be unwatchable
3 – NEW ORLEANS over Detroit – I don’t think the Lions are over their Thanksgiving debacle.
2 – LOS ANGELES RAMS over Cleveland – It’s odd to not have any faith in the Rams at home.
1 – NEW YORK JETS over Atlanta – Rodgers isn’t back yet so if you think the Jets will win, keep it on the one-point line
We’re back to full strength!
Well, at least for one week.
Once again all 32 teams will be playing this week. Thanks to a full day’s worth of football action on Thursday, and even a Black Friday game!!, all teams will need to be on duty on Sunday! With that comes the chance for more points so let’s cushion our lead in the season long pools!
Happy Thanksgiving everyone! To take a short break from the football mentality, I do want to let you know that I am thankful to those that follow along with me and read my stuff – thank you!
OK…back to FOOTBALL!
Week 12 – HERE WE GO!!!!
(HOME TEAM IN CAPS)
16 – DALLAS over Washington – I can’t make my “Redskins playing on Thanksgiving” joke anymore, but it’ll still be the same idea.
15 – DETRIOT over Green Bay – When was the last time Lions’ fans were THIS thankful to watch their team on Thanksgiving?
14 – HOUSTON over Jacksonville – I’ve said it before, I’ll be saying it again and again – the Texans are fun to watch.
13 – MINNESOTA over Chicago – The Bears just find new ways to lose – it’ll be fun to see what they come up with for Monday Night.
12 – Miami over NEW YORK JETS – Black Friday deals have hit the Jets’ quarterback room as they just keep getting discounted.
11 – TENNESSEE over Carolina – I’m not saying the Panthers made the wrong decision by any means, BUT, my BOLD PREDICTION for this week is that WILL LEVIS WILL HAVE MORE THAN TWICE AS MANY PASSING YARDS AS BRYCE YOUNG.
10 – ATLANTA over New Orleans – Way too many injury issues for the Saints to handle this week.
9 – PHILADELPHIA over Buffalo – The Bills used up their “competent offense” points against the Jets last week … … … bit of a waste if you ask me.
8 – Kansas City over LAS VEGAS – I reeeeeeeeeeally want to pick the Raiders in this one.
7 – Baltimore over LOS ANGELES CHARGERS – Remember when the AFC West was supposed to be the best division ever?
6 – ARIZONA over Los Angeles Rams – I’m as surprised to see the Cardinals this high, for a win, as you are.
5 – Cleveland over DENVER – I don’t know which hype to believe less in this one.
4 – Tampa Bay over INDIANAPOLIS – I’ve been burned by the Bucs on the road too many times to not pick them again.
3 – SEATTLE over San Francisco – This is just going to be a fun way to cap off the holiday!
2 – CINCINATTI over Pittsburgh – No Burrow, no problem…at least this week.
1 – NEW YORK GIANTS over New England – This was a Super Bowl matchup…somewhat recently … … … twice.
People are talking about the Madden Cruse being the issue with Josh Allen and the Bills this season.
I get that, it’s been around for a while…but what about the new curse that seems to be making its presence known this season … the Bold Prediction Curse! (dun dun dunnnnnnnnnnn)
Last week’s Bold Prediction was about the Ravens winning the AFC – they then proceed to lose to the Browns at home. This is not the first time something like this has happened this year.
My best to the recipient of this week’s Bold Prediction!
Week 11 – HERE WE GO!!!!
(HOME TEAM IN CAPS)
14 – DETROIT over Chicago – The Lions are at the top of our list this week … … … enjoy, Detroit!
13 – MIAMI over Las Vegas – If McDaniels were still coach, this would be worse than 70 point drubbing the Dolphins gave Denver earlier this season.
12 – HOUSTON over Arizona – Welp, it’s been fun Texans – my BOLD PREDICTION for this week is that THE TEXANS WILL MAKE THE PLAYOFFS.
11 – SAN FRANCISCO over Tampa Bay – I can see Christian McCaffrey getting at least six touchdowns this week.
10 – Dallas over CAROLINA – The Cowboys defense is just going to have fun in this one.
9 – CLEVELAND over Pittsburgh – I’d say that I’m a believer in the Browns, but that statement is at least delayed with the Deshaun Watson injury.
8 – BALTIMORE over Cincinnati – After last week I don’t think Ravens fans want me to say anything positive.
7 – Seattle over LOS ANGELES RAMS – Safe to say the Rams are closer to the Cardinals in the division than they are Seattle and San Francisco
6 – Los Angeles Chargers over GREEN BAY – Jordan Love can’t keep up with the Chargers offense.
5 – JACKSONVILLE over Tennessee – Trevor Lawrence said the offense didn’t know what they were doing last week … … … that worries me
4 – BUFFALO over New York Jets – What are the Bills doing this low on the list??
3 – KANSAS CITY over Philadelphia – It wasn’t a holding call in February
2 – DENVER over Minnesota – This game should not be as exciting as it probably will be
1 – WASHINGTON over New York Giants – This just seems like a game the Giants can sneak away with. Why? … … … got nothing
We’re already on double digit weeks? How can this be!
And after last week, we are ready to get into the double digit portion of the season. We said that we needed a big week last week and with missing out on only 13 points I say we did just that!
Let’s keep it rolling!
Week 10 – HERE WE GO!!!!
(HOME TEAM IN CAPS)
14 – DALLAS over New York Giants – The Giants just gave up 8 sacks to the Raiders…Have fun Mr. Parsons.
13 – LAS VEGAS over New York Jets – The new vibe in the Raiders locker room won’t allow a loss to the Jets
12 – BUFFALO over Denver – Pretty sure the league regrets scheduling this one for Monday Night
11 – BALTIMORE over Cleveland – The Browns’ fun season will come crashing down this week. My BOLD PREDICTION for this week is that THE RAVENS WILL WIN THE AFC CHAMPIONSHIP.
10 – CINCINNATI over Houston – CJ Stroud has made this game lower than you would think it would be on this list.
9 – SEATTLE over Washington – Back-to-back road games on each coast will catch up to the Commanders.
8 – Detroit over LOS ANGELES CHARGERS – Sooooooooooo much light blue!
7 – CHICAGO over Carolina – The one time the Bears will be this high on our list is the week where a win will hurt their draft position with Carolina’s pick…that’s the Bears season in a nutshell.
6 – Indianapolis over NEW ENGLAND – OK Germany, we gave you Dolphins/Chiefs last week, just be happy with getting another game.
5 – San Francisco over JACKSONVILLE – I don’t think the bye week could have come at a better time for the 9ers.
4 – PITTSBURGH over Green Bay – Remember when this inter-conference game would have been relevant?
3 – TAMPA BAY over Tennessee – Will Levis has made the Titans a potentially sneaky road team in games they should probably lose.
2 – New Orleans over MINNESOTA – I’m sure this win would take the taste of the Minneapolis Miracle out of the mouths of Saints fans.
1 – ARIZONA over Atlanta – Simply put, the Falcons should not be this bad.
Please wait...
