After the dust settled from Week 1's first 2017 NFL action, heavyweight fantasy players like David Johnson, Allen Robinson, and Danny Woodhead were injured for most (and in some cases, all) of the season. What happens with their targets now, and who can be picked up to offset issues on your team if you rostered one of those players? That and more on tonight's podcast. Plus beer!

Each new fantasy season comes complete with NFL rule changes and a selection of players scattered onto unfamiliar teams. Draft strategies can change from year-to-year depending on available talent and the fantasy information available. Preseason injuries can cost some players a whole season, changing the fundamental makeup of a team and creating fantasy relevance where there was none previously.
In short, change is an integral part of each season, and therefore a key factor in crossing the fantasy finish line. Tonight's podcast is all about embracing those changes and using them to your advantage in the year to come!

Congrats on making it this far into the playoffs, you're clearly a top notch fantasy player. If you haven't made it this far, you're clearly just obsessed with fantasy football - either way, good for you. We've gathered this week to mourn the teams that couldn't make it this far and to drink to the ones who are in the semifinals. No guest this week, so we dove right into the good stuff. We wrapped up Week 14 and all the goings on, we discussed the waiver pickups you need to make this week and then went over some match ups that are ripe for exploitation before picking our lineups for Week 15.

On the eve of the end of the fantasy football regular season, we find ourselves looking back at some data from the draft to try and make sense of our draft strategies and determine if we're taking the right approach. I suppose the answer to that will truly come in Week 16 and the proof will be in the hardware. Since we like fantasy football, we still like to look at the numbers, so take a look for yourself in my breakdown of How Well Did You Draft: Top 10 ADP vs Top 10 Point Scorers.
This week we're joined by another member of the drinkfive.com staff, Stephanie Erpito. Steph helps Dave out with our social media and is the undisputed expert when it comes to football players who have reality TV shows. She helped us wrap-up Week 12, discussed some draft strategies and picked a lineup with us. This week, we'll be placing our team names at risk in a league where we're all in the playoffs - truly the biggest wager of the season.

Fantasy Football Podcast
The Fantasy Finish Line Podcast has been chugging along for a few years now, still operating with its original hosts - David Biggs and Jason Evans. This 45-60 minute weekly program airs leading up to and during the NFL regular season (when fantasy happens) with some special broadcasts throughout the year. Whether you need to dish on draft strategy before the season starts or just need some advice on who to pick up from the waiver wire, our fantasy football show will help you through the tough times and onto the trophy!
Retrospectical Podcast
The Universe is huge and we are small. Not much we can do about that. What we can do, however, is to try to make sense of all the things around us. Too many things are just taken for granted when instead we should be searching for deeper understanding and meaning. Or not. Either way, it is the goal of the Retrospectical Podcast to shed some light on topics that have more under the surface than you may be aware of. From the history and evolution of television to drones and alternative currencies, we'll explore a wide-range of topics and surely get off on some wacky tangents but ultimately be better off for it. That's the idea, anyway!
TV Soup Podcast
The hosts of the TV Soup Podcast, Jason Evans and David Biggs, have both long been immersed in media and technology but their hopeless addiction to modern television series has been a somewhat recent development. With the advent of shows like Dexter, Breaking Bad, Sherlock and Game of Thrones, television has grown up quickly to the point where we would now rather be blowing through TV series than going out to a movie in most cases! We'll be jumping from one series to another, doing reviews and providing weekly commentary along the way on this 30-minute weekly broadcast.
